Solar repair and service in Southern Utah

Your solar company may be gone. Your solar system doesn't have to be.

If the company that installed your system went out of business, stopped answering, or won't service it, we can help. We diagnose, service and repair existing solar systems, even ones we didn't install.

Stuck with a solar system and no one to service it?

You invested thousands in solar expecting it to work for decades. Then the company that sold it disappeared. Now maybe:

  • Your system isn't producing what it used to
  • Your monitoring app shows an error or stopped reporting
  • Your inverter isn't working
  • One or more panels appear offline
  • Your electric bill suddenly went up
  • You need warranty work and don't know where to start
  • You just want someone to inspect it and confirm it's working

You don't need to track down the original installer. We'll inspect your system, find the problem, and explain your options.

What we fix

You already bought solar. We're not here to sell it to you again.

Our first job is figuring out what your existing system needs. Sometimes that's a repair. Sometimes it's an electrical fix. Sometimes the system is fine and you just need help understanding it. We diagnose first and walk you through your options before any work starts.

How a service visit works

  1. Tell us what's happening

Send the form or call. If you can, include who installed it, roughly when, and a screenshot of your monitoring app.

  2. On-site diagnosis

A licensed electrician inspects the panels, inverter, wiring and monitoring to find the actual cause.

  3. Clear options

We explain what we found and what it will cost before we fix anything.

Back up and running

“My solar panels stopped working so I asked Zion Electric and Solar to come out and troubleshoot. Dallin replied to my message right away and got me on his schedule. Within only a couple days he had my system up and working again. He explained to me exactly what had happened and what to check for if I have any problems in the future. I would recommend Zion Electric and Solar to everyone.”

“First, I want to thank Travis for all the information he supplied and putting up with me during the design of my system. And then when I needed to fire it up, he sent his partner Dallin. These two know their stuff! I cannot thank you enough. I would highly recommend them to anyone.”

Solar repair questions

Can you service my solar panels if you didn't install them?

Yes. We diagnose and service existing systems, including ones installed by other solar companies.

What if my original solar company went out of business?

That's exactly what this service is for. We evaluate the system you have and figure out what it needs, without the original installer being involved.

How do I know if my system isn't working right?

Common signs: a higher electric bill, falling production, inverter error lights or messages, monitoring alerts, panels or strings showing zero, or a monitoring app that stopped updating. If you're not sure, we'll inspect it.

Can you repair Enphase or SolarEdge systems?

Yes. We're certified installers for Enphase, SolarEdge, APsystems, Sol-Ark, Tesla and more, so we know these systems well, including microinverters, optimizers, hybrid inverters and monitoring.

Can you add a battery to my existing system?

Often, yes. Compatibility depends on your inverter and electrical setup. We'll evaluate your system and explain the options.

Is my panel or inverter still under warranty if my installer closed?

Manufacturer warranties on panels and inverters often still apply even if the installer is gone. Workmanship warranties from the installer usually don't. We can help you figure out what's covered and work with the manufacturer where possible.

Do you serve my area?
