New construction

New construction electrical

Building a home or adding on? We design and install the electrical system, and we can make it solar-, battery- and EV-ready from day one so you're not opening walls later.

What we do

  • Electrical design and layout

  • Service, panels and subpanels

  • Rough-in and finish wiring

  • Lighting design and installation

  • Solar-, battery- and EV-ready prep

  • Coordination with your builder and inspections

How we work with your build

  1. Plan

We review your plans and help you decide where power, lighting and future solar or EV wiring should go.

  2. Rough-in

We run the wiring during framing and coordinate the rough-in inspection with your builder.

  3. Finish and power on

We install fixtures, devices and the panel, pass the final inspection and coordinate power with your utility.

What affects the price

Every home is different, so we quote after we look. These are the things that move the price most. You get the full price in writing before any work starts.

  • Square footage and the number of circuits
  • Panel and service size
  • Lighting plan and fixture count
  • Prewiring for solar, a battery or an EV charger
  • Detached buildings like casitas or shops

New construction questions

Do you work with builders and general contractors?

Yes. We coordinate with your builder on scheduling, rough-in and inspections.

Can you prewire for solar and an EV charger?

Yes. It's much easier and cheaper to plan for them during construction than to retrofit later.

Do you wire additions, shops and casitas?

Yes, along with garages and other accessory buildings.

Should I plan for solar during construction?

If you think you'll want it, yes. A few wire runs and the right panel during construction cost far less than opening walls later.
